Toronto Living Room Listening Series – Chinatown Records

A sonic Chinatown to Chinatown collaboration between Long Time No See 好久不見 and Chinatown Records 華埠錄音, Toronto Living Room Listening consisted of  a series of gatherings in and around Toronto’s historic Chinatown. In collaboration with University of Toronto, Ontario College of Art and Design University and Scadding Court Community Centre, the events brought together music and memory, diving into into a NYC Chinatown Records archive of over 35 record/CD/tape collections inherited from families and neighbors and the personal musical memories of participants.
